Bringing top DJs over from Brazil, becoming a major journalistic voice in new Brazilian music, and working with huge labels like Mr Bongo on Brazilian releases, Joe is fast-becoming a linchpin of an Anglo-Brazilian conversation. And Brazilian Wax’s iconic parties at venues such as Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s and London’s Rye Wax, is at the beating heart of that conversation.
