Join us for some live music from Zak Hobs with support on the night by Ines and EdwardAlice. Although the British folk music of the 60’s and 70’s is at the core of Zak Hob’s influences, the roots music of America and 50’s country music are the largest building blocks on top of his traditional British foundation. This has resulted in a transatlantic style whilst maintaining his “British-accented melancholy” as put by Uncut’s Jim Wirth. Support on the night by Ines, a Soul/RnB Singer influenced by D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Kimbra, Hiatus Kayote. Finally, EdwardAlice are an acoustic band from Cambridge. They’ve been gigging since January 2013 and provide highly engaging and melodic lyrics with catchy hooks, and characters you come to love. Influenced by The Beatles, Nizlopi, Will and the People and Toots their instrumentation is beautifully simple but hugely effective.
